I was tasked with creating a brochure for the Aerotherm Group. Previously they had had separate brochures for each part of the group but they wanted a brochure that incorporated the whole company.
A stylish, eye-catching brochure was required for trade shows and handing out to prospective clients.
Having no previous experience in this field, this was a particularly challenging project.
However, this made the end result more satisfying.

I was selected for a 3 month internship to design, create and deploy a website to incorporate the vast (over 1000 products) catalogue of the company.
After an initial design brief I was left alone to get the job done. I chose the powerful wordpress platform for its ease of use to maintain. The site was built as a theme for wordpress and then I used PHP to call the images based upon the title of the product.
The products were entered via a csv file which i had to build based upon a price list.

This is the Vista theme I created, inspired by Microsofts Xbox 360 console.
This was a time consuming project that involved a lot of photo editing and trial and error work. It changes the apperance of most of the operating system.
The end result was definately worth it and was very popular with over 10,000 downloads to date.

This is the first website I created. It was designed as a part of my Masters degree course in Web Journalism.
Expanding upon skills taught in HTML and CSS I researched the web and tried to incorporate some of the best techniques. These included Javascript and Ajax elements.
The website theme was consistant throughout and this required good planning and efficient time management.

I was chosen to build a site for Aerotherm engineering. Initially, I was employed to build a site for a start up company under a different name. However, part way through the site build, the company merged with another. I therefore had to re-imagine the branding of the website I was working on.
I used WordPress to allow the company to add to the site as their business expanded.
This was a challenging build having to re-brand part way through the design process.
