As
stated at the beginning of this page my name is Andrew and I design websites
amongst other things.
I started out doing a History degree at the University of Sheffield and then
moved on to a Web Journalism Masters degree at the same university. My love
of writing tied me down to the Journalism side of the degree but it was the
web designing aspects through which I flourished.
While at University I was constantly experimenting with my computer and
this culminated in me creating the Xbox 360 Vista theme which can be
seen in my portfolio. The reasoning behind this was that there was
nothing better available and I thought could have a reasonable go at it.
I have always loved music since an early age borrowing my sisters CD's
to listen to the songs I liked. The music streaming program Spotify has
had me hooked since I downloaded it and I would love to get my hands on
a Zune HD if Microsoft ever decided to release it over here and i had the money.
I am also a keen gamer and this links in well with my love for music as
some games have particularly epic scores, Halo and Fable being noteable
examples.
Finally, I also love movies and the way they bring epic scores, great action and great stories together.
My skills at web design include HTML, CSS, Javascript, Photoshop, Video
and audio editing and planning and design.
