Mass Effect 3: Updated

Mass_Effect_N7_Wallpaper_by_Hayter

Shepard returns in the final instalment of the epic space adventure, (my copy came yesterday thanks to online shopping), and its getting rave reviews across the board. I imported my character from the first two games, however, the custom face failed to import properly, not that I remember what he looked like so default Shepard it is for me!     The game starts in an introductory fashion in case you had forgotten how to play the game and its actually a good start with the reapers arriving all guns blazing rather than repeating the “reapers are coming” mantra from

E3 – What happened to the Xbox we loved?

e3

Another year, another E3. The overwhelming emotion as a gamer is best described through a 3 letter word; Meh. Microsoft kicked off the show, repeating the method they followed last year, showcasing another Call of Duty demo. Early on the controller disconnected. Looking back it was an ominous sign of things to come. The demo played out exactly as anyone would expect, i.e. simply another COD (Yawn!). Moving on we saw a demo of Tomb Raider, best described as an Uncharted rip off which also borrowed from a porno flicks soundtrack.   EA came on stage to announce Kinect support in future sports titles. Halo Wars–Online tips

Seeing as my Halo Wars review never materialised due to various things getting in the way i thought i would instead, after playing the game quite alot recently, give some tips on how to survive online for new players. As the Covenant

Well it looks like Perfect Dark 64 may be the next classic title to grace xbox live arcade if Rare’s nutorious teasing is to be taken at face value. The picture below was released by Rare to show off their new Banjo Tooie theme for the xbox 360 it clearly has Joanna Dark in the guys played games list. Does this mean that PD 64 will be coming out? Well Rare does like to screw with people but it does seem like a high probability especially as it was probably Rare’s second most popular game, behind a little game known

OnLive. The Future of Gaming?

With the Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2009 now underway the furore seems to be centring on a new device called OnLive. The device aims to eliminate the need for separate games consoles such as the Xbox, Playstation or PC and even the need for any actual games. OnLive only needs a small decoding device to work and all the games are stored on servers at the company’s headquarters. Instead of playing the game locally your controller will play the game on their servers and through video compression a video of your interaction with the game will be sent back to
